Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the position is:

To take overall operational control of the Packing Department by effectively planning and utilizing manpower, monitoring individual and departmental productivity, ensuring achievement of packing targets, maintaining workforce discipline,



ensuring compliance with approved SOPs/GMP/GHP requirements, controlling packing documentation and providing accurate operational MIS directly to the Plant Head.

Role & responsibilities

The Packing In-Charge shall:

- Take overall operational responsibility for the Packing Department.
- Review the daily production/packing plan.
- Plan packing activities according to production requirements.
- Monitor execution of the approved packing plan.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly and monthly packing targets.
- Identify operational bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, Warehouse, Dispatch and Maintenance.
- Escalate major operational issues to the Plant Head.

Education And Experience Criteria

- Minimum Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 3 to 5 years
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred
- Relevant Industry: Food / Nutraceutical / FMCG / Pharmaceutical
- Relevant Experience: Packing + Production + Manpower Handling + Productivity Monitoring
