Key Responsibilities
- Develop, model, and validate flight control laws for aerospace and avionics systems.
- Derive and manage system requirements, architecture, and interface specifications.
- Perform control system modeling, simulation, gain tuning, and stability analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Develop and execute system, integration, verification, and validation test procedures, including SIL, HIL, and flight test support.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and optimize control law performance.
- Support certification activities in compliance with DO-178C, ARP4754A, and ARP4761 standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Control Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3-5+ years of experience in flight control systems development and verification.
- Strong experience in system requirements development, control law design, modeling, simulation, gain tuning, and system integration.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and other control system development tools.
- Hands-on experience with SIL, HIL, and flight test data analysis.
- Familiarity with aerospace development and certification standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754A, and ARP4761.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and MBSE methodologies is preferred.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in aerospace and defense programs.
- Knowledge of autonomous/UAV/eVTOL flight control systems.
- Exposure to avionics cybersecurity and advanced flight control technologies.
