Job Title - Autodesk , Auto CAD for Chennai

Years of Exp 4 - 8 years

Qualification – BE / B Tech / Diploma

Work location – Chennai

Mandatory skills –

Autodesk Inventor and Auto CAD

Skid Design
Piping modelling
Reading P&ID;
Autodesk frame generator / Frame and Bracket design

- Design & Modelling: Develop 3D models for process skids, frames, and support structures using Autodesk Inventor.
- GD&T; Application: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) to engineering drawings to ensure functional fit, form, and manufacturability.
- Data Management: Control all design revisions and file lifecycles within Autodesk Vault.
- Technical Documentation: Produce detailed fabrication drawings, assembly layouts, and accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Equipment Layouts:



Design piping and equipment arrangements that comply with hygienic standards (ASME BPE) and P&IDs.;

Qualifications

- Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, specifically for skids and structures in biopharma or related industries (e.g., Food & Beverage, Water Treatment).
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Vault is mandatory.
- Technical Standards: Deep understanding of GD&T;, stainless steel fabrication, and GMP (Positive Manufacturing Practice).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
