- Define performance engineering roadmap, NFRs, and capacity planning aligned with Infosys delivery frameworks.
- Act as Performance SME during architecture reviews, release go/no-go decisions, and production RCA.
- Drive performance KPIs, SLIs/SLOs, and golden signals for critical services.
- Performance Testing & Automation
- Design and execute load, stress, spike, endurance, and soak tests using Apache JMeter.
- Develop reusable test frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle).
- Implement parameterization, correlation, custom samplers, and distributed load generation.
- Application & JVM Optimization
- Hands-on tuning for Java/Spring Boot microservices deployed on Kubernetes/Docker.
- Expertise in JVM internals (GC algorithms, heap, thread scheduling) and tools like JFR, JMC, VisualVM.
- Analyze thread contention, GC pauses, memory leaks, CPU hotspots; recommend code-level optimizations.
- Middleware & API Performance
- Optimize Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly for thread pools, connection pools, async processing.
- Govern RESTful API performance, OpenAPI contracts, and Apigee API Gateway policies for scalability and security.




- Database Performance Engineering
- Tune Oracle/PostgreSQL queries, execution plans, indexing strategies, and connection pooling.
- Correlate DB metrics with application and infrastructure telemetry.
- Cloud & Container Performance
- Drive Kubernetes resource sizing, pod scheduling, and JVM tuning inside containers.
- Debug using kubectl, logs, metrics; optimize deployments for VMware-based environments.
- Observability & APM
- Implement Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger for full-stack observability.
- Build dashboards and alerts; perform transaction-level latency breakdowns.
- Infosys Delivery Excellence
- Align with Infosys Agile/DevOps practices, Global Delivery Model, and quality gates.
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Client Stakeholders for performance sign-off.
