This role ensures endtoend quality performance of the Oragadam plant, covering:

- Customer quality issue resolution
- Machining & foundry quality systems
- Supplier quality governance
- Metrology & lab readiness
- Quality requirements for NPD
- Customer audits & process adherence
- Driving CELR reduction and external failure cost reduction

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and resolve customer quality issues; drive 8D closure
- Ensure systems to reduce CELR for machined and ascast parts
- Handle managementlevel customer audits
- Drive process adherence and overall quality conformance
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, NPD, and supplier teams
- Mentor plant teams on quality systems, APQP, PPAP, IATF
- Drive NPD quality requirements for recent programs
- Ensure quality lab readiness and metrology capability
- Reduce external failure cost and improve PPM performance

Industry Exposure

- Foundry / Die Casting (HPDC/GDC) – Mandatory
- Machining + automotive component manufacturing
- Experience in customer quality + machining + casting is essential
