Job Role: Cloud Engineer
Location: New Delhi
Candidate should be willing to travel as per work requirements.
Qualification
- BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Configuration and management of on-premises and public cloud environments.
- VM resource management and system administration.
- Deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure.
- Support cloud, virtualization, and data center environments as per organizational requirements.
Job Requirements
- Experience in securing and managing at least one operating system, such as Windows, RHEL, Ubuntu, or CentOS.
- Hands-on experience with at least one hypervisor, such as VMware, oVirt, VirtualBox, or similar technologies.
- Positive experience with virtualization or containerization solutions such as VMware, VirtualBox, OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent.
- Previous work experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of SAN, DAS, NAS, and other storage solutions.
- Experience in creating scripts using Shell, Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages, along with experience in software automation.
- Ability to assess, analyze, customize, automate, troubleshoot, and implement tools, open-source software, and commercial solutions according to organizational requirements.
- Good understanding of network and system protocols such as DNS, HTTP, and Syslog.
- Knowledge of security solutions such as EDR/XDR/NDR, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, DLP, Antivirus, and Endpoint Security.
- Working experience with IT infrastructure and Data Center services.
- Excellent reporting, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of data and maintain the security of IT systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel anywhere in India for support and deployment activities.
- Ability to handle clients professionally and efficiently during the deployment and support of C-DOT solutions.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving IT infrastructure requirements.
- Working knowledge of ticket monitoring systems and willingness to track and resolve issues within stringent response and resolution timelines.
Preferred Certifications
- Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or equivalent will be an added advantage.
