Skills Required

- Deep WordPress development experience: custom themes, templates, plugins, multi-site, understanding of lters and action hooks, and advanced customization.
- Robust ACF Pro prociency (blocks, exible content, options pages).
- Solid working knowledge of Laravel and MySQL.
- Prociency in JavaScript, CSS (LESS/SASS), and HTML.
- Familiarity with AODA/WCAG accessibility and OWASP security standards.
- SEO technical implementation experience.
- Excellent communication skills: proactive, responsive (same business day), and clear with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective use of AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain WordPress sites and features: custom templates, ACF Pro blocks, multi-site, and plugindevelopment.
- Develop and extend applications and APIs using Laravel, and build user interfaces with HTML,



CSS (LESS/SASS), and JavaScript (knowledge of React is a nice bonus).
- Own product features end-to-end, from implementation through deployment, including work outside of WordPress in our Laravel application and custom front-end code.
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit and integration); apply accessibility (AODA, WCAG) and security (OWASP) best practices.
- Optimize application performance, debug and resolve defects, and support SEO technical efforts.
- Work within Git workows, participate in code reviews, and write database migration scripts.
- Use AI-assisted development tools effectively as part of daily work.
- Document technical decisions and contribute to our internal component library and design system.
