We are looking for a seasoned Senior QA Lead with 712 years of QA experience to own quality delivery for software running across cloud-hosted and on-premises environments. This is a predominantly hands-on role (70%) centred on solid manual and integration testing of microservices-based distributed systems, paired with Playwright automation expertise. The remaining 30%involves leading, mentoring, and growing a QA team of 3–4 engineers.

You will work in close, daily partnership with a US-based Product Owner, Project Manager, and development team, so clear written and verbal communication and the confidence to represent QA in cross-geo discussions are essential to success in this role.

Must Have

- 6–10 years of QA experience with microservices-based and distributed systems in cloud and/or on-premises environments
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on UI automation, with demonstrable recent experience in Playwright(TypeScript/JavaScript or Python)
- Strong manual testing fundamentals — proven track record of writing detailed,



high-coverage test cases and test scenarios from requirements
- Practical, hands-on experience creating Test Strategy and Test Plan documents for product releases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience working directly with distributed or US-based stakeholders
- Experience leading or mentoring a small QA team (2+ engineers), including work allocation and review
- Solid proficiency in Linux command-line tools and SQL for backend testing and debugging
- Basic to intermediate scripting skills (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services)
- Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting abilities
- A high degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Willingness to maintain a few hours of overlap with US time zones for stakeholder collaboration
