The Windows Server Specialist in Noida plays a critical role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of the company's server infrastructure. This position is part of the Platform & Tools, IAM, EGI team, focusing on telecom sector projects.

Description

- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Windows and SQL Server administration.
- Proficiency in Windows Server Standard, Enterprise maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SQL Server administration, including clustering and high availability setups.
- Solid skills in virtualization technologies such as ESX/ESXI, Vcenter, Azure, and Hyper-V.
- Basic knowledge of SAN/NAS storage systems and networking protocols like DNS and routing.
- Familiarity with web servers and database management including IIS, NGINX, Tomcat, MySQL, and Postgres.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Perl, Shell, Python, and PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities





- Install and maintain Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Administer and troubleshoot SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain system backups, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Configure and deploy virtual machines, providing backup for all configurations.
- Oversee patch management processes, including downloading, installation, and verification of updates.
- Develop and implement backup, replication, clustering, and failover strategies.
- Support code deployment and manage source control systems, virtual servers, and scripting tasks.

Requirements

- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field such as B.Tech/B.E /MCA/MBA
