Youll ensure project execution aligns with quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives, making a significant impact in driving Alstoms strategic initiatives. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (including quality, engineering, and suppliers) to achieve operational goals, manage supplier relationships, and optimize sourcing strategies.
Youll specifically take care of developing and implementing sourcing plans and managing supplier performance, but also support tender phases with RFQs and key negotiations.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain
- 810 years of experience in commodity management or as a buyer in a manufacturing industry
- Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership and the ability to influence and convince
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in quote analysis and negotiation
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Willingness to take initiative
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in your area of specialization
- Experience in bringing innovation and AI-led digitalization to procurement
- Practiced innovation and AI-led digitalization for enhanced efficiency
