Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced CCU Doctor to provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the Coronary/Critical Care Unit. The doctor will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and coordination with consultants and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and manage critically ill patients admitted to the CCU.
- Monitor patients vital signs, clinical status, and response to treatment.
- Initiate appropriate emergency and life-saving interventions when required.
- Manage patients with cardiac and other critical medical conditions.
- Perform and interpret relevant clinical assessments and investigations.
- Coordinate with cardiologists, intensivists, consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure timely documentation of patient history, examination, treatment plans, and progress.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and clinical deterioration.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients’ relatives regarding clinical status and treatment plans, as appropriate.




- Participate in handovers, rounds, and other clinical activities.

Qualifications

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Critical Care, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Valid medical registration with the relevant medical council.
- Experience in CCU/ICU/Critical Care is preferred.
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
