Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced F5 Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in F5 technologies. The candidate should have strong practical expertise across F5 LTM, GTM/DNS, SSLO, and WAF and be capable of independently handling implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and production support activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, configure, implement, and troubleshoot F5 LTM, GTM/DNS, SSLO, and WAF solutions.

* Configure and manage F5 Virtual Servers, Pools, Pool Members, Nodes, Profiles, Monitors, SNAT/NAT, Persistence, and iRules.

* Manage F5 WAF / ASM / Advanced WAF policies, signatures, enforcement, learning, and application security.

* Configure and troubleshoot F5 SSL Orchestrator (SSLO) traffic flows, service chains, SSL/TLS interception, and security integrations.

* Manage F5 GTM/DNS configuration including Wide IPs, DNS pools, listeners, monitors, topology, and GSLB-related configurations.

* Perform SSL/TLS configuration including Client SSL, Server SSL, certificates, cipher suites, and SSL profiles.

* Perform application onboarding and troubleshoot end-to-end application traffic flows.

* Troubleshoot complex issues involving LTM, GTM, SSLO, WAF, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.

* Perform F5 software upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, backups, and health checks.

* Analyze F5 logs, statistics, packet captures, and traffic flows for troubleshooting.

* Work closely with Network, Security, Application, Firewall,



and Infrastructure teams.

* Participate in production implementation, incident management, change activities, and planned maintenance.

* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration documents, implementation plans, and troubleshooting reports.

Mandatory Technical Skills

The candidate must have solid hands-on experience in:

* F5 LTM

* F5 GTM / DNS

* F5 SSL Orchestrator (SSLO)

* F5 WAF / ASM / Advanced WAF

Strong knowledge of:

* Virtual Servers, Pools, Nodes & Pool Members

* iRules

* Persistence

* SNAT/NAT

* Health Monitors

* SSL Profiles

* Client SSL / Server SSL

* SSL Certificates & TLS

* WAF Security Policies

* WAF Signatures & Enforcement

* GTM/DNS Wide IPs, Pools & Monitors

* SSLO Topologies and Service Chains

* HA and enterprise F5 architecture

* TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS and networking concepts

Valid F5 certification is mandatory.

Candidates without an F5 certification will not be considered.

Preferred Experience

* F5 VELOS / rSeries experience.

* F5 BIG-IP software upgrades and migrations.

* Experience with enterprise-scale F5 deployments.

* Experience working with BFSI or other large enterprise environments.

* Scripting/automation knowledge.

* Experience troubleshooting complex production environments.

Candidate Requirements

* 5+ years of hands-on F5 experience.

* Strong practical knowledge of LTM + GTM + SSLO + WAF.

* Must hold a valid F5 certification.

* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

* Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

* Ability to independently manage F5 implementation and production-support activities.

* Must be willing to work from office 5 days a week in Bangalore.
