*Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily operations of flour milling plants located in Gujarat at Nadiad, Himatnagar, and Surat, covering activities from wheat receipt to finished goods dispatch.
- Monitor wheat cleaning, conditioning/tempering, milling, sieving, blending, and packing processes.
- Ensure production and dispatch plans are achieved as per daily and monthly targets.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely availability of wheat and packing materials.
- Maintain inventory records for wheat, maida, bran, by-products, and packaging materials.
- Ensure accurate production records, stock records, and operational MIS reporting.
- Coordinate with Quality Control teams for testing of raw materials and finished products.
- Monitor critical quality parameters including moisture, ash content, color, and other product specifications.
- Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for timely movement of finished goods.
- Identify opportunities for improving productivity, extraction yield, energy efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations and corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in:
- Food Technology
- Food Processing
- Dairy Technology
- Agriculture
- Food Science
- Or any relevant discipline





- Candidates with experience in Flour Milling or Maida Plant Operations will be preferred.

Experience

- 2 to 5 years of experience in:
- Flour Milling
- Food Processing
- Grain Processing
- FMCG Manufacturing

- Direct experience in wheat flour, atta, or maida manufacturing operations will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Valuable understanding of flour milling and wheat processing operations.
- Production planning and manpower management capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and plant machinery.
- Inventory management and warehouse coordination.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of safety, food quality, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Effective communication and team management skills.
