DigiPro is looking for a Senior Web Developer who can take ownership of website development and maintenance
projectsfrom understanding requirements and converting designs into functional websites to deployment,
optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
Role Overview
¢ The Senior Web Developer will develop high-quality, responsive, secure, and SEO-friendly websites for DigiPro's
clients.
¢ The role works closely with designers, SEO specialists, content teams, account managers, and clients to deliver
websites that are visually strong, fast, technically sound, conversion-focused, and easy to maintain.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development
¢ Develop, customize, and maintain primarily WordPress websites.
¢ Build responsive websites and landing pages from Figma/design files.
¢ Develop custom WordPress themes, templates, plugins, and functionalities.
¢ Work with Elementor and Gutenberg.
¢ Integrate third-party tools, forms, CRM systems, analytics, payment gateways, and APIs.
¢ Manage migrations, updates, backups, and deployments.
¢ Troubleshoot bugs and compatibility issues.
Technical SEO & Performance
¢ Implement technical SEO best practices.
¢ Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and performance.
¢ Implement clean HTML, schema markup, redirects, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, and related technical SEO
requirements.
¢ Optimize websites for search engines and AI/answer engines (AEO).
¢ Resolve crawlability, indexing,



UX, and conversion issues.
Hosting & Website Management
¢ Manage domains, DNS, SSL, hosting, cPanel, and website environments.
¢ Handle deployments and migrations.
¢ Monitor uptime, security, backups, and performance.
¢ Implement basic WordPress security and maintenance practices.
Client & Team Collaboration
¢ Collaborate with designers, content writers, SEO specialists, performance marketers, and account managers.
¢ Translate client requirements into practical technical solutions.
¢ Provide realistic timelines and communicate project progress.
¢ Manage multiple client projects and deadlines.

¢ Participate in client calls when technical expertise is required.
Leadership & Ownership
¢ Take end-to-end ownership of assigned website projects.
¢ Review work and guide junior developers.
¢ Establish coding, development, and maintenance best practices.
¢ Improve development processes and technology stack.
¢ Stay current with web technologies, AI tools, SEO/AEO practices, and development trends.
Required Skills
¢ 4+ years of professional web development experience.
¢ Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Framer, Squarespace, and Webflow.
¢ Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
¢ Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
¢ Experience with Elementor/Gutenberg and major WordPress plugins.
¢ Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
¢ Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
¢ Working knowledge of Git/GitHub.
¢ Strong understanding of website performance and technical SEO.
¢ Experience with hosting, cPanel, DNS, SSL, backups, and deployments.




¢ Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
¢ Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
