Role & responsibilities

- 2D Drafting & 3D Modeling: Create detailed manufacturing production drawings and flat-pattern layouts for perforated cable trays, ladder-type cable trays, raceways, and support accessories using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Sheet Metal Calculations: Prepare accurate unbent/flat-length calculations, accounting for material thickness, bend allowances, and notch placements.
- Shop-Floor Coordination: Produce Bill of Materials (BOM) and cut-lists for the shop floor, coordinating closely with production technicians on CNC punching, laser cutting, shearing, and press brake bending.
- Quality & Customization: Revise drawings based on client project specifications, ensuring dimension accuracy, mounting hole locations, and proper fitment before manufacturing.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualification: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience).
- Software Knowledge:



Hands-on training or baseline proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks / Creo.
- Core Concepts: Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication (thickness gauges, bending, perforation, welding, and surface finishing like hot-dip galvanizing or powder coating).
- Location Preference: Candidates residing in/around Ambattur, Avadi, Korattur, Mogappair, Villivakkam, or candidates willing to relocate to Ambattur.
