- Manage day-to-day operations of Electric Commercial Vehicle (EV) fleets across assigned locations.
- Ensure maximum vehicle utilization and fleet availability.
- Monitor vehicle deployment, trip completion and turnaround time.
- Coordinate vehicle allocation based on daily operational requirements.
- Track fleet performance using telematics and operational dashboards.
- Ensure vehicle charging is completed as per operational requirements.
- Monitor route complocatliance, service levels, safety and overall operational efficiency.
Driver Management
- Supervise driver attendance, onboarding, training and performance.
- Conduct daily driver briefings and ensure adherence to operational SOPs.
- Monitor driver behaviour, productivity and compliance with safety guidelines.
- Resolve driver-related issues and coordinate manpower requirements.
- Maintain high standards of driver discipline and operational compliance.
Preferred candidate profile
Preferred Candidate
- Education: Minimum +2 / Higher Secondary qualification. Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations will be an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ year of experience in logistics, warehouse, loading operations or fleet operations.
- Should have practical knowledge of loading procedures, vehicle capacity and safety norms.
- Experience in driver handling, vehicle deployment and day-to-day fleet operations will be preferred.
- Should have basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer applications; ERP knowledge will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage drivers and operational teams.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Should be proactive, disciplined and result-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Comfortable working in warehouse/loading dock environments and in early morning, late-night and rotational shifts.
- Candidates who have exposure to EV/commercial vehicle operations will be an added advantage.
