Role : Operations Director

We are looking for an experienced Operations Director with 20+ years of experience in Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee end-to-end logistics and operational functions across the organization.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with EcomEx's business and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong operational processes across cities, hubs, warehouses, and delivery networks.
- Monitor daily operational performance and take corrective action to resolve service issues.
- Develop and implement SOPs, operational standards, quality-control processes, and performance metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional and operational teams.
- Set operational targets and ensure consistent achievement of SLA and service-level commitments.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve speed, efficiency, and reliability.
- Drive reduction in RTO, NDR, delivery failures, shipment delays, damages, and operational costs.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Technology, Finance, and Management teams.
- Manage relationships with courier partners, logistics partners, vendors, transportation providers, and operational service providers.
- Monitor courier-partner performance and negotiate improvements in service quality, capacity, and operational efficiency.
- Establish systems for real-time shipment monitoring, exception management, escalation handling, and performance tracking.
- Use operational data and analytics to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Lead operational expansion into current cities, hubs, and markets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Represent EcomEx in meetings with strategic partners, logistics providers,



and enterprise customers when required.
- Be willing to travel extensively across operational locations.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 20+ years of experience in Operations / Logistics / Supply Chain / E-commerce / Courier / Fulfillment.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale operations and operational teams.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end e-commerce logistics and shipment lifecycle.
- Experience managing pickup, transportation, sorting, last-mile delivery, RTO, NDR, and reverse logistics.
- Strong track record of improving delivery performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Experience managing multiple locations, hubs, warehouses, or regional operations.
- Strong knowledge of SOP development, SLA management, process improvement, and quality control.
- Experience working with multiple courier and logistics partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working with CXOs, senior management, enterprise clients, and strategic partners.
- Strong understanding of MIS, dashboards, operational analytics, and performance reporting.
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and execution-focused.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
