Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SEO professional with 6+ years of experience to drive organic growth and search visibility for international banking brands across EMEA markets.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in SEO and a proven background in the banking industry. Experience with credit cards, retail banking, digital banking, lending, or other banking products will be highly relevant.

The candidate should also have strong knowledge of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and understand how search is evolving across traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies for international banking brands across EMEA markets.
- Lead technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, content SEO, and international SEO initiatives.
- Develop and implement AEO strategies to improve visibility across featured snippets, People Also Ask, answer engines, and voice search.
- Drive GEO strategies to improve brand visibility across AI-powered and generative search platforms.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, SERP analysis, and search-intent mapping across EMEA markets.
- Manage international SEO initiatives including hreflang, localization, country-specific content, and regional search strategies.
- Optimize content for banking and financial products while ensuring alignment with YMYL,



E-E-A-T, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and work with technology/development teams to resolve crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, and structured-data issues.
- Collaborate with content, product, UX, technology, marketing, and compliance teams to deliver organic growth.
- Monitor SEO performance using Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other relevant tools.
- Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions, SERP visibility, and AI-search performance.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI search developments, and emerging SEO/AEO/GEO trends.
- Prepare SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements

- 6+ years of relevant SEO experience.
- Banking industry experience is mandatory.
- Experience working with international/foreign banking brands is strongly preferred.
- Experience with EMEA markets is preferred.
- Strong hands-on expertise in technical, on-page, off-page, content, and international SEO.
- Strong understanding or hands-on exposure to AEO and GEO.
- Experience working on banking/financial products, such as credit cards, loans, retail banking, digital banking, payments, etc.
- Strong understanding of YMYL, E-E-A-T, schema/structured data, and financial-content optimization.
- Experience with Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4.
- Solid analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
- Willingness to work in the EMEA shift.
