Job Summary
The Quality Engineer Test Management (SAP) is responsible for planning,
coordinating, executing, and monitoring software testing activities for SAP applications
and business processes. The role involves working with functional teams, developers,
business stakeholders, and project managers to ensure SAP solutions meet functional,
technical, performance, and quality requirements.
Experience Required
• Minimum: 2 years of relevant experience
• Maximum: 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in SAP testing, test management, QA, or software quality
assurance is preferred.
• Experience with SAP implementation, integration, migration, or upgrade projects
is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for SAP
applications.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing activities across SAP modules.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Track and manage defects from identification through closure.
• Coordinate with developers and functional consultants for defect resolution.
• Monitor test execution progress, test coverage, and quality metrics.
• Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
• Identify risks and issues related to testing and communicate them to
stakeholders.
• Participate in requirements analysis and review requirements for testability.
• Ensure testing activities follow organizational quality standards and processes.

• Prepare test status reports and communicate testing progress to project
stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills
SAP




• Basic to strong understanding of SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of one or more SAP modules such as:
o SAP MM
o SAP SD
o SAP FI/CO
o SAP PP
o SAP HCM
o SAP QM
• Understanding of SAP business processes and integration between modules.
Testing & Quality
• Manual testing and test case design.
• Functional and integration testing.
• Regression testing.
• System Integration Testing (SIT).
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Defect management.
• Test planning and execution.
• Requirements traceability.
• Risk-based testing.
• Knowledge of STLC and SDLC.
Tools Required
Candidates should ideally have experience with some of the following:
• SAP Solution Manager / SAP Cloud ALM
• Tricentis Tosca SAP test automation
• Jira defect and task management
• HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM
• Azure DevOps test and work-item management
• Selenium basic automation knowledge is an advantage
• Postman API testing
• SQL database validation and data verification
• Excel / MS Office test documentation and reporting
• Git basic version-control knowledge is an advantage

Educational Qualification
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelors degree in:
o Computer Science
o Information Technology
o Computer Applications
o Software Engineering
o Electronics/related technical field
Preferred Qualification:
• MCA / M.Tech / M.E. / MBA-IT or equivalent.
• SAP or software testing certifications are an advantage.
Preferred Certifications
• SAP certification
• ISTQB Foundation Level
• Tricentis Tosca certification
• Agile/Scrum certification
• SAP S/4HANA certification
