About the Role:

We are looking for an Animator & Video Editor with expertise in creating engaging social-first videos in different engaging formats by making relevant use of . The role demands someone who exhibits exceptional craft skills, design thinking, storytelling and domain knowledge. We're looking for an Animator & Video Editor who can create social-first video content by combining motion design, storytelling, platform-native editing, and emerging technologies to make the brand content impossible to ignore

Responsibilities:

Animation & Editing: Lead video creation charter across social media channels (Instagram, YouTube & LinkedIn) by creating interesting and highly binge-worthy videos for calendarised content, new product launches, campaign sustenance and topical/festive campaigns

- Translate brand strategy into aesthetic, tasteful and repeatable video formats
- Develop and maintain video creation guidelines for the brand
- Conceptualise and execute episodic content formats and recurring IPs that can build audience affinity and brand distinctiveness over time.
- Work closely with the content, design and marketing team to ensure design intent is in line with the brand personality and purpose

Campaigns & Brand Communication:

- Support integrated campaigns for launches, seasonal rollouts, festive season communication and exclusive brand moments.
- Adapt product campaigns into:
- Digital & social assets
- In-store communication




- Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and external partners to ensure visual consistency and impact across channels.
- Help translate big ideas into clear, executable video ideas.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Education: Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years. Agency/brand experience preferred.

Skills:

- Must-have Skills & Experience:
- 1. Proven experience in working for FMCG or consumer brands. Brownie points for portfolios that showcase:
- 2D Animation
- Kinetic typography
- Compositing and masking
- Camera tracking and motion graphics systems
- Animation principles (timing, easing, anticipation, squash & stretch)
- Explainer/infographics video animation
- Animated transitions and visual effects o GIF and micro-animation creation
- Short-form video editing (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
- Long-form video editing (PR footage, interviews, brand films)
- Video cutdowns and repurposing
- Storytelling and pacing o Sound design and audio syncing
- Colour correction and colour grading
- Multi-format exports and platform optimisation

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Ability to think in systems, not one-off designs.

Strong attention to detail and bias for action on output quality.

Nice-to-have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in 3D animation

• Exposure to direction, CGI, or AI-led visual creation

• Knowledge of sound production and SFX

• Character animation

• Storyboarding, Script visualisation
