Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Officer to join our team in Pakur, Jharkhand.

The Finance Officer will support day-to-day finance and accounting activities, maintain financial records, assist with financial reporting and documentation, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial and accounting records and documentation.
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and other financial documents.
- Assist in processing payments, reimbursements, and expense claims.
- Support bank reconciliation and other account reconciliation activities.
- Assist in preparing monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors regarding finance-related queries.
- Maintain and organize financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist with statutory and financial compliance-related activities as required.
- Support the finance team during internal and external audits.
- Track outstanding payments and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by the management or reporting manager.

Requirements

Required Skills Qualifications





- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 24 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Hands-on experience with Tally, MS Excel, or other accounting/ERP software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, including basic formulas and data management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with NGOs, non-profit organizations, development-sector organizations, or similar institutions will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, and other applicable statutory compliances will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience handling finance operations independently will be preferred.
