- Assemble CNC machine tools and mechanical sub-assemblies as per engineering drawings and assembly procedures.
- Carry out dismantling, inspection, repair, reconditioning, and reassembly of CNC and conventional machine tools.
- Assemble and align components such as spindle units, ball screws, linear guideways, gearboxes, hydraulic units, tool changers, and machine structures.
- Perform precision fitting, scraping, shimming, adjustment, and alignment work as required.
- Carry out machine installation, leveling, and mechanical setup at customer sites.
- Perform machine geometry setting, including alignment, straightness, parallelism, squareness, and spindle alignment.
- Assist in machine commissioning, trial runs, and final acceptance.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
- Diagnose mechanical faults related to spindles, ball screws, guideways, bearings, hydraulic systems, and lubrication systems.




- Identify root causes of machine failures and carry out necessary corrective actions.
- Repair and replace worn or damaged mechanical components.
- The position involves extensive travel to customer sites across India and, where required, outside India.
- The candidate must be willing and able to stay at customer sites for extended periods, depending on the duration and requirements of the project.
- Projects may require continuous site stays ranging from several days to several weeks or longer.
- The candidate must be comfortable working independently at customer locations and coordinating with customer representatives and the internal technical team.
- Willingness to work extended hours and additional shifts when required to meet project schedules is essential.
