- Hands-on Instrumentation: Minimum of 3 years of direct, practical experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) systems.
- Method Execution & Troubleshooting: Proven track record of independently resolving system errors (e.g., pressure fluctuations, baseline drift, peak splitting, reproducibility issues) for both HPLC and GC platforms.
- Consumables Management: Demonstrated expertise in selecting and managing appropriate columns, injection liners, septa, seals, and mobile phases specific to both liquid and gas phases.
- Software Competency: Mandatory proficiency in major Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) used to control Chromatography instrument.

About the Role : KPM Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a provider of electrical testing and measurement equipment for transformer, power utility, electrical, and industrial applications.

We are looking for a Chemical Lab Assistant to support the application and demonstration of KPM's transformer oil testing equipment, including DGA, Furan, Karl Fischer, Oil Acidity, BDV, and other related instruments.

The role is primarily focused on customer application support, product demonstrations, training, and maintaining KPM's in-house laboratory.





- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate KPM's transformer oil testing equipment for product demonstrations and application support.
- Provide basic technical training to customers on equipment operation, sample preparation, testing procedures, and result interpretation.
- Support customers in the proper application and use of equipment after installation.
- Assist the technical team in resolving basic application and operational queries.
- Conduct demonstration tests using:
- DGA Testing Equipment
- Furan Analyzer
- Karl Fischer Moisture Tester
- Oil Acidity Tester
- Transformer Oil BDV Tester
- Other KPM testing equipment.
- Maintain KPM's in-house laboratory and demonstration facilities.
- Maintain laboratory instruments, accessories, samples, consumables, and basic records.
- Assist in preparing application notes, demonstration procedures, and customer training material.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and customer demonstrations when required.
- Occasionally travel to customer locations for training, demonstrations, and application support.
- Qualification & SkillsB.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Diploma/B.Tech. Chemical Engineering, or related qualification.
- 0–3 years of experience.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments and chemical handling.
- Valuable understanding of basic chemistry and laboratory procedures.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working with testing instruments and computers.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support.
