Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and results-driven US IT Recruiter to join our staffing team. The recruiter will manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, screening profiles, negotiating rates, coordinating interviews, and supporting successful placements for US-based IT requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Source qualified IT professionals through Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, referrals, and internal databases.
- Work on Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Full-Time requirements from US clients and implementation partners.
- Understand technical job descriptions and identify suitable candidates within the required turnaround time.
- Screen candidates based on technical skills, experience, location, visa status, availability, communication, and compensation expectations.
- Recruit candidates under C2C, W2, and 1099 employment arrangements.
- Work with consultants holding H-1B, OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, Green Card, US Citizen, H4-EAD, and other valid work authorizations.
- Negotiate pay rates and confirm candidates’ willingness to relocate, travel, or work onsite, hybrid, or remotely.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive IT candidates.
- Format resumes and submit qualified candidates with accurate details.
- Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, manage offer discussions, and follow up through onboarding.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates, vendors, account managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Update candidate records, submissions, interviews, and placements in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Meet daily and weekly targets for calls, submissions, interviews, and placements.
- Develop long-term skilled relationships with candidates and maintain a reliable consultant network.
- Stay updated on US recruitment trends, technologies, visa categories, tax terms, and employment regulations.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of the US IT staffing and recruitment lifecycle.
- Knowledge of US tax terms, including C2C, W2, and 1099.
- Familiarity with common US work authorizations and visa categories.
- Ability to understand technical requirements across software development, cloud, DevOps, data, AI/ML, QA, cybersecurity, ERP, and infrastructure roles.
- Strong sourcing, screening, negotiation, and candidate-engagement skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, job portals, LinkedIn, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work during US business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in US IT recruitment or staffing is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and an interest in recruitment may also apply.
