Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹21,000 per month, depending on experience and skills

About the Role: Yash Freight Services is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the company's finance and administrative operations.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, GST, invoicing, banking transactions and general accounting, preferably with experience in the logistics/freight industry.

- Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime/ERP.
- Record sales, purchase, receipt, payment and expense transactions.
- Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, vouchers and ledgers.
- Handle customer and vendor accounts and maintain outstanding/receivable-payable records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain bank/cash books.
- Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation, including sales/purchase data and reconciliation.
- Handle TDS entries and basic compliance-related accounting work.
- Prepare regular MIS reports, payment statements and outstanding reports.
- Follow up on customer receivables and coordinate with vendors for payments/bills.
- Verify bills, invoices and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.




- Coordinate with management, auditors, CA and other departments when required.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of routine accounting activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
- Required SkillsGood knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS and basic accounting principles.
- Understanding of Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable.
- Good knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to manage work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Logistics/Freight/Transport industry experience will be an advantage.

Eligibility

- Education: B.Com / M.Com / equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years preferred; candidates with relevant practical accounting experience may also be considered.
- Freshers with strong Tally/accounting knowledge may be considered for an entry-level position.

Salary₹17,000 – ₹21,000 per month

Salary will be decided as per the candidate's experience, accounting knowledge, Tally/Excel skills and interview performance.
