We are hiring an Acoustic Product Development Engineer Home, Vacuum & Hydraulic Lifts

The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving the acoustic performance of our home lifts by minimizing operational noise and vibration, enhancing passenger comfort, and driving cutting-edge product design, development, testing, and validation to achieve world-class ride quality.

Role & responsibilities

* Develop and implement acoustic solutions for home elevators, vacuum lifts, and hydraulic lift systems.

* Analyze and reduce operational noise generated by vacuum pumps, hydraulic power units, electric motors, guide mechanisms, doors, and ventilation systems.

* Design and optimize Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and passive noise control solutions where applicable.

* Conduct acoustic and vibration measurements during product development, prototype testing, and validation.

* Perform root cause analysis of noise and vibration issues and implement effective design improvements.

* Optimize component selection, mounting methods, damping materials, insulation, and structural design to reduce noise transmission.

* Work closely with mechanical, electrical, electronics, controls, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

* Validate product performance through laboratory and field testing to meet customer expectations for quiet operation.





* Support new product development, engineering changes, and continuous product improvement initiatives.

* Prepare acoustic test reports, technical documentation, and engineering recommendations.

Required Skills:

* Strong knowledge of acoustics, noise control engineering, and NVH (noise, vibration & harshness).

* Experience in noise reduction techniques for electromechanical systems.

* Understanding of active noise cancellation (ANC) principles and practical applications.

* Experience with acoustic measurement equipment, sound level analysis, and vibration testing.

* Knowledge of electric motors, vacuum pumps, hydraulic systems, fans, and mechanical drive systems.

* Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or similar engineering analysis tools is preferred.

* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and product development skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, acoustical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.

* 5 to 10 years of experience in acoustic product development for residential elevators, vacuum lifts, hydraulic lifts, home appliances, HVAC, pumps, compressors, or similar electromechanical products.

* Experience in developing products with low-noise and high-comfort performance.
