Job description Area Sales Manager General Trade (ASM-GT) | FMCG | New Launch Location: Ujjain, Madyapradesh Experience: Minimum 7 -10 Years as ASM in entire Ujjain Industry: FMCG CTC: Maximum gross up to 9 LPA DA Roles & Responsibilities Lead the successful launch of new FMCG products across Ujjain. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets. Appoint, develop, and manage distributors to strengthen the distribution network. Increase numeric distribution, outlet coverage, and market penetration. Drive retailer activation, merchandising, and in-store visibility. Lead and mentor Sales Officers/TSIs to improve market execution and productivity. Execute trade schemes, promotional activities, and sales initiatives. Monitor stock availability, distributor ROI, and collection efficiency. Conduct regular market visits to identify growth opportunities and monitor competition. Build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers,



and retailers. Desired Candidate Profile Graduate in any discipline. Minimum 5-10 years of FMCG sales experience in the General Trade channel. Minimum 2 years of team handling experience as ASM or equivalent. Strong exposure to distributor appointment and market expansion. Experience handling the Vidarbha market is mandatory. Exposure to recent product launches will be an added advantage. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
