Role Summary

We are looking for a Finance Manager to take end-to-end ownership of the company’s finance and accounting function. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, statutory compliance, cash-flow management, internal controls and financial planning, while partnering closely with management to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and oversee the end-to-end finance and accounting function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance across all financial activities

- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports

- Prepare and review MIS, budgets, forecasts, cash-flow statements and variance analysis to provide meaningful insights to management

- Manage statutory compliances including GST, TDS, income tax and other applicable regulatory requirements

- Oversee accounts payable, receivables, collections, payments, banking operations and bank reconciliations

- Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial commitments, ensuring effective utilization and planning of funds





- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks and other external stakeholders and ensure timely closure of financial and compliance matters

- Establish, strengthen and continuously improve financial processes, accounting systems and internal controls

- Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and adherence to applicable accounting standards, policies and regulatory requirements

- Support management with financial analysis, business planning, cost control and decision-making

- Lead, guide and review the performance of the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring clear ownership and timely delivery of responsibilities

Must-Have Skills:

- Solid expertise in accounting, financial reporting and finance operations

- Hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax and statutory compliances

- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and working capital

- Experience in managing month-end/year-end closing, audits and financial reconciliations

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems

- Ability to independently manage financial processes and work closely with senior management

- Strong attention to detail with a high level of financial accuracy and integrity

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in a start-up, technology or fast-growing organization

- Experience in building or improving finance processes, controls and reporting systems

- Exposure to ERP implementation, finance automation or process digitization

- Experience in handling cross-functional finance requirements and business partnering
