- Drive continuous process improvements in cost savings
- Managing the suppliers to meet the QDC metrics
- Act as site representative on mechanical commodity team. Actively participate in commodity team decision-making, negotiations, and implementations.
- Drive effective use of corporate-wide contracts to ensure ongoing leverage and lowest cost
- Provide tactical support and conduct negotiations as required for the site where needed
- Share best practices & expertise with other sites / platforms on an occasional basis
