The Marine Fuel Coordinator is responsible for overseeing marine fuel management activities across a fleet of customer site remotely. The role ensures accurate fuel monitoring, replenishment, reconciliation, reporting, compliance with Marine Fuel Management Best Practices (MFMBP), and stewardship of marine fuel and methanol operations. The position serves as a critical liaison between vessel crews, shore base teams, fuel providers, contractors, and operational stakeholders to ensure fuel accountability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor vessel fuel consumption and identify variances against established operational benchmarks.
- Communicate daily with vessel crews regarding fuel consumption deviations and reporting accuracy.
- Maintain awareness of vessel movements through VCC planning schedules and ensure timely availability of operational documentation.
- Manage daily fuel monitoring activities for all Marine Gas Oil (MGO) transfers.
- Investigate fuel-related discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with vessel crews and VCC.
- Ensure Fuel Tickets are accurately completed and comply with company procedures.
- Verify and maintain supporting fueling documentation, including Bunker Delivery Notes (BDN), Fuel Tickets, Tank Soundings,



Flow Meter Readings, PDS and EFMS Screenshots, Fuel Quality Certificates
- Confirm all required approvals, signatures, and checklists are completed and documentation
- Manage vessel on-hire and off-hire fuel reconciliation processes.
- Track fuel inventory movements and coordinate with Shore Base Analysts, Warehouse Teams, and Kabal Coordinators.
- Perform monthly fuel reconciliations and support inventory adjustment processes.
- Maintain records of all vessels and bunker-provider fuel metering systems, including calibration status and certification requirements.
- Support methanol inventory reconciliation and equipment verification activities.
- Handle monthly Balance Sheet Account Management (BSAM) activities within SAP.
- Ensure fuel-related transactions and reconciliations are accurate and completed before financial close.
- Prepare stewardship reports for Marine Fuel Management (MFM) and EEAL teams.
- Provide fuel management training and awareness sessions to vessel crews and operational personnel.
- Conduct Marine Fuel Management on-hire inductions.
- Promote compliance with fuel ticket procedures, fuel reporting requirements, and best practices.
- Coordinate annual inflatable life jacket certification programs, and third-party inspections and certifications, including methanol hose inspections and related equipment verification.

Work Experience

Education Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.

Experience (5 To 8 Years)

- Experience in marine fuel management, vessel operations, bunkering, marine logistics, or offshore support operations.
- Experience with fuel reconciliation, inventory management, and vessel reporting systems.
- Exposure to offshore marine operations is preferred.

Technical Skills

- Solid understanding of Marine Fuel Management Best Practices (MFMBP).
- Working knowledge of bunker operations and fuel reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in SAP, including Materials Management (MM) and financial modules.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

Working arrangement

- This is fleet support of 12hr x 7 days and hence candidate should be flexible to work in 2nd shift and week-end on rotational basis.
- Total working hours per week per engineer : 45 hours
