We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with a solid data engineering foundation to help design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for our data platforms. This role is ideal for someone who has worked hands-on with data pipelines and wants to deepen their expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting data pipelines and analytics workloads
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data storage, compute, and networking on the cloud
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data workflows
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, and security compliance
- Support migration of on-prem or legacy data systems to cloud-native architectures
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues across cloud environments
- Work closely with data engineers, DevOps, and architects to ensure reliable, scalable systems
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of overall experience, with a background in data engineering (building pipelines, working with data platforms/tools like Spark, Databricks, Airflow, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation
