Job Description – IT – Business Partner

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager – IT Business Partner (Finance Portfolio) will serve as the strategic technology partner for Finance functions, driving business transformation through SAP, automation, analytics, taxation, reconciliation, treasury, procurement, and compliance initiatives. The role will be responsible for managing the Finance Technology portfolio, partnering with business stakeholders, and delivering technology solutions that improve controls, operational efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary IT relationship manager for Finance stakeholders.
- Lead requirement gathering, business analysis, solution design, and business case development.
- Manage Finance technology demand, project portfolio, prioritization, governance, and delivery.
- Drive SAP enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and finance transformation initiatives.
- Deliver automation and digitization across financial reconciliation, taxation, invoicing, treasury, procurement, reimbursements, and vendor payments.
- Partner with Finance teams to improve reporting, compliance, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Drive financial analytics and profitability reporting across business functions.
- Establish portfolio dashboards, KPI reporting, risk management, and advantages realization tracking.
- Identify opportunities to leverage analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technologies to optimize finance processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in IT Business Partnering,



ERP, Finance Technology, Business Analysis, Program Management, or Digital Transformation.
- Strong knowledge of Finance processes including Financial Accounting, Taxation, Treasury, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement, Compliance, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience in SAP/ERP implementations, enhancements, integrations, and finance automation initiatives.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional technology portfolios and stakeholder relationships.
- Exposure to analytics, reporting, process automation, and enterprise application delivery.
- Experience in Aviation, Airline, Logistics, Travel, or other large enterprise environments preferred.

Good to Have:

Relevant certifications in Project Management, Business Analysis, Enterprise Applications, Digital Transformation, Finance Systems, Data Analytics, Agile Delivery, or Cloud Technologies

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
