Role Overview

ISPP is seeking an Admissions & Outreach Counsellor to support the admissions team in student recruitment and outreach activities for the school’s programmes, both PDM and Executive education. The Counsellor will primarily engage in call counselling to advise prospective students about ISPP’s offerings and assist them in identifying and enrolling in the programme best suited to their needs.

In addition to guiding candidates through the admissions process, the role will contribute to outreach and marketing initiatives — including drafting mailers, blogs, and other communication material — to engage prospective students and build awareness of ISPP’s programmes. The position involves managing large datasets on a CRM platform, handling queries over the phone, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for prospective students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Recruitment & Outreach

- Support the Admissions team in student recruitment for ISPP’s PDM and Executive Education programmes.
- Contribute to outreach and marketing initiatives that build visibility and interest in ISPP programmes.

1. Call Counselling

- Provide phone counselling to prospective students, advising them on available programmes.




- Help students identify and enrol in the programme that best suits their needs.
- Daily calling expectation, a minimum of 60 numbers dialled and 35 connected calls per day

1. Admissions Guidance

- Guide prospective students through the admissions process.
- Provide detailed information on programme offerings and application requirements.
- Assist candidates in progressing through the various stages of application submission.

1. CRM Management

- Manage and maintain large datasets on the CRM platform.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of prospective student information.

1. Handling Inquiries and Concerns

- Address queries and concerns over the phone, ensuring a positive experience for prospective students.

1. Content & Marketing Support

- Write mailers, blogs, and other content to engage prospective students and individuals interested in public policy.
- Develop resources and communication material to generate interest in ISPP’s programmes.

Qualifications and Skills

- 1–2 years of work experience.
- Graduate in any subject.
- Background or understanding of Public Policy, Education, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of other languages is welcome.
- Previous experience in call counselling, admissions support, or outreach roles is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage queries empathetically and patiently.
- Experience with student information systems and CRM software preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to create engaging written content (mailers, blogs, outreach material).
- Demonstrated ability to provide educational guidance to prospective applicants.
- Collaborative, proactive, comfortable taking ownership of leads, maintaining timely follow-ups and CRM updates, and contributing to shared admissions goals.

Compensation

- ₹ 5.5- 6.5 lakhs per annum (commensurate with experience).
