- Mechanical Engineering background is preferred, as the role involves procurement related to fire protection/project materials.
- 2-5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in Fire Protection, MEP, EPC, Engineering or Project-based industries.
- Good knowledge of project material procurement, vendor development, price negotiation and cost control.
- Experience in PO processing, PR-to-PO conversion, vendor coordination, GRN and invoice coordination.
- Ability to identify and develop reliable vendors and ensure timely delivery of project materials.
- Good understanding of technical/project requirements and coordination with Engineering, Projects, Stores and Accounts teams.
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems will be preferred.
- Candidate should have good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
