You will support multilingual data and linguistic projects involving Marathi and English across a variety of content types.
Your work may include translation, annotation, transcription, evaluation, localization, validation, and content creation.
You’ll help improve the quality and linguistic accuracy of datasets used to develop and train advanced AI systems.
The role offers exposure to areas such as computational linguistics, language data annotation, and large language model development.
Projects are completed remotely through an online platform available 24/7, providing flexibility around task availability.

Accountabilities

- Contribute to linguistic projects involving Marathi and English, ensuring content is accurate, natural, consistent, and contextually appropriate.
- Perform translation, categorization, annotation, correction, transcription, evaluation, localization, validation, and content-creation tasks as required by individual projects.
- Review and validate audio, video, images, sentences, words, and other language data according to project-specific guidelines.
- Apply strong knowledge of Marathi grammar, language structure, terminology, and linguistic conventions to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Support conversational interactions and voice-recording activities when required for specific data-collection projects.
- Identify linguistic inconsistencies, errors, and quality issues and apply appropriate corrections.
- Follow project instructions, quality standards, deadlines, and data-handling requirements consistently.
- Contribute to AI-focused language-data initiatives,



potentially including corpus analysis, computational linguistics, annotation, or LLM training activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation or a related linguistic discipline.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Marathi, with excellent command of written and spoken language.
- Fluent English, with the ability to accurately understand and produce written content with excellent spelling and grammar.
- Strong understanding of linguistic theory, grammar, syntax, and overall language structure.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to linguistic accuracy and consistency.
- Basic computer literacy and confidence working with online platforms and digital tools.
- Previous experience in translation, computational linguistics, corpus analysis, language-data annotation, content rating, or LLM training is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and manage remote project tasks responsibly.
- A reliable computer with at least 4GB RAM, microphone, and webcam.
- Windows 10 or later or macOS 13 Ventura or later, with all supported operating-system updates installed.
- Stable internet connection, headphones, and a secure internet environment protected by a strong password.
- For audio-collection projects, access to an Android mobile phone is required; tablets and iOS devices are not supported.
