Job Description: An Additional General Manager (AGM) for Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I;) leads the complete electrical, automation, and control systems for heavy industries like steel, power, or manufacturing. Key Responsibilities

- Plant Reliability: Lead E&I; maintenance strategies across power plants, utilities, and manufacturing units to ensure high uptime.

- Power Distribution: Manage high-tension (HT) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) switchyards, transformers, and grid connections.

- Project Execution: Oversee electrical engineering, vendor selection, testing, and commissioning for expansion projects.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety regulations and statutory statutory compliance.

- Team & Budget Management:



Handle departmental budgeting, spare parts inventory, and manpower planning.

Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Instrumentation.

- Experience: 10 to 15 years of hands-on leadership experience in heavy process industries like steel plants or power plants.

- Core Skills: High-voltage power distribution, industrial automation (PLC/DCS), project management, and team leadership
