As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Corporate Safety Head to lead and strengthen our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) function across manufacturing plants and project sites.

Reporting To: Executive Director & CEO
Location: Noida (Corporate Office)
Travel: Extensive travel to manufacturing plants and project sites across India
Role Overview
The Corporate Safety Head will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's HSE strategy across manufacturing facilities, construction sites, warehouses, and corporate offices. The role will drive a strong safety culture, ensure statutory compliance, implement industry best practices, and establish robust systems that promote operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
This position requires a seasoned HSE professional with extensive experience in both manufacturing and EPC/construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
HSE Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement the corporate HSE strategy, policies, standards, and annual roadmap.
- Foster a proactive safety culture across all manufacturing plants and project sites.
- Establish HSE objectives, KPIs, and governance frameworks to monitor organizational performance.
- Partner with business leaders to integrate safety into operational and strategic decision-making.
Manufacturing Plant Safety
- Drive safe operations across fabrication, welding, cutting, painting, material handling, assembly, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure effective risk assessment and hazard mitigation for heavy equipment,
cranes, forklifts, electrical systems, pressure vessels, and hazardous materials.
- Lead safety inspections, internal audits, emergency preparedness programs, and fire safety initiatives.
Construction & Project Site Safety
- Develop and monitor project-specific HSE plans for erection and construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices related to work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, confined spaces, excavation, electrical work, and hot work.
- Strengthen contractor safety management through regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
- Drive effective implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk management processes.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain statutory documentation, permits, licenses, and audit readiness across all locations.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and certification agencies.
Incident Prevention & Continuous Improvement
- Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor safety performance, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Training & Safety Culture
- Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and business partners.
- Promote Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) and safety awareness campaigns.
- Conduct induction programs, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and leadership engagement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor HSE teams across manufacturing plants and project sites.
Reporting & Governance
- Present HSE performance reports, dashboards, and key metrics to senior leadership.
- Drive accountability through regular management reviews and compliance monitoring.
- Standardize HSE processes and best practices across all business locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related discipline).
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS/PDIS) is mandatory.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 18–25 years of progressive experience in Health, Safety & Environment.
- Minimum 5 years in a corporate leadership role managing HSE across multiple manufacturing plants and construction/project sites.
- Experience in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), structural steel, EPC, heavy engineering, industrial construction, steel fabrication, or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
