This is a project-based role responsible for managing basketball FOP (Field of Play)
activities and supporting outreach initiatives. The FOP Manager will play a
critical role in executing operational tasks, running the entire field of play of the basketball tournament, coordinating outreach between stakeholders, and ensuring smooth on-ground execution of project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage entire basketball FOP tournament operations including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Support outreach activities by coordinating with stakeholders and participant engagement
- Organize and facilitate on-ground events and activities
- Coordinate with team members and external partners.
Implementation
- Maintain accurate documentation of the basketball tournament FOP activities and outreach metrics
- Handle participant registration, feedback collection, and data management
- Communicate project updates and activity reports to project leadership
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines and quality standards
Required Skills & Competencies
- Robust Technical knowledge and relevant experience in the sport of basketball
- Strong organizational and operational management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and data management proficiency
- Event coordination and logistical planning experience
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset with strong team orientation
Experience & Qualifications
- Understanding and relevant experience in the sport of basketball
- 1-3 years of experience in sports operations, event coordination, or field support
- Proven experience in outreach or community engagement programs
- Proficiency with MS Office and data management tools
- Comfortable with on-ground fieldwork and field travel.
