We curate and manage domestic and international educational tours, student travel programs, experiential learning journeys, and school group tours , working closely with schools, students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance International Tour Manager – Europe to accompany and manage a school student group travelling to Europe in October 2026 .

n

This is a project-based prospect for someone who has genuine hands-on experience managing international school group tours with students and is confident handling the responsibilities that come with travelling with a school delegation.

n

About the Opportunity n

The selected Tour Manager will be responsible for accompanying a school group throughout the Europe tour and ensuring the safety, coordination, discipline, communication, logistics, and overall experience of the students and accompanying staff .

n

This is not a general leisure-tour or individual-travel opportunity.

n

We are specifically looking for someone who has previously travelled internationally with school/student groups and understands the unique requirements of managing minors and educational groups overseas.

n

The ideal candidate should have: n

n
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in international tour management, student travel, educational travel, or school group tours.
n
- Personally accompanied school/student groups to Europe at least 3 times .
n
- Strong practical experience managing students during international tours.
n
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills .
n
- Confidence in communicating with students, teachers, school representatives, hotels, transport providers, attractions, local partners, and other stakeholders.
n
- Strong organisational and people-management skills.
n
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in unexpected situations.
n

n

A valid Europe/Schengen visa will be considered a strong advantage.

n

Key Responsibilities1. School Group Tour Management n

n
- Accompany the student group throughout the Europe tour.
n
- Ensure the smooth execution of the planned itinerary.
n
- Coordinate daily schedules, activities, transfers, meals, accommodation, sightseeing, and other tour components.
n
- Ensure students and accompanying teachers are aware of the day's schedule and movement plan.
n
- Maintain discipline and ensure students follow the agreed group protocols.
n
- Coordinate closely with the school's accompanying teachers and representatives.
n

2. Student Management & Safety nn
- Act as a responsible point of contact for students throughout the tour.
n
- Ensure students remain with the group and follow movement and safety protocols.
n




- Conduct regular headcounts and ensure no student is left behind during transfers, sightseeing, activities, or other movements.
n
- Assist students with reasonable travel-related requirements and concerns.
n
- Handle student queries and concerns calmly and professionally.
n
- Escalate serious or sensitive matters immediately to the appropriate school representative and Young Edsplorer team.
n
- Remain alert to student safety, wellbeing, and behavioural requirements throughout the journey.
n

3. International Travel Coordination nn
- Coordinate airport arrivals, departures, transfers, check-ins, and group movements.
n
- Coordinate with airlines, transport providers, hotels, local guides, activity providers, and destination partners.
n
- Ensure the group follows the planned itinerary and movement schedule.
n
- Manage changes or delays and coordinate alternative arrangements when required.
n
- Ensure timely movement between hotels, attractions, educational visits, and other scheduled locations.
n

4. Europe Tour Execution n

The candidate should have practical familiarity with managing student groups across European destinations and be comfortable handling:

5. Stakeholder Coordination n

You will be required to communicate effectively with:

The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with different stakeholders is essential.

Mandatory Requirements n

Please apply only if you meet the following criteria:

1. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in international/student/group tour management.

n

2. Must have previously accompanied school/student groups to Europe at least 3 times.

n

3. Must have hands-on experience managing school groups or student groups internationally.

n

4. Excellent spoken English is mandatory.

n

5. Must be comfortable travelling with and managing student groups.

n

6. Must be available for the required Europe tour assignment in October 2026.

Preferred n

- Valid Schengen/Europe visa .
n
- Previous experience with Indian school groups travelling to Europe.
n
- Experience working as an International Tour Manager, Tour Escort, Group Tour Manager, Student Travel Coordinator, Educational Tour Manager, or School Trip Coordinator.
n
- Experience with educational travel companies, student travel companies,



tour operators, or school tour operators.
n
- Familiarity with European destinations and inter-city transportation.
n
- Strong crisis-management and problem-solving skills.
n
