About the Role

n

Fête Home is looking for a highly creative Graphic Designer / Illustrator with a strong understanding of international tableware, homeware, print, patterns and luxury design.

n

We are looking for someone who can go beyond execution and contribute creatively to developing original collections, illustrations, patterns, motifs and visual concepts that feel sophisticated, distinctive and globally relevant.

n

What You’ll Do

n

• Develop and design complete tableware and home collections from concept to final artwork

n

• Create original illustrations, motifs, patterns, prints and artwork for products

n

• Understand international tableware aesthetics, trends, materials, techniques and visual language

n

• Create handpainted or graphically illustrated artwork that can be adapted across homeware items like plates, trays, napkins, linens, textile, packaging, gifting products and other homeware

n

• Hand draw, hand paint and create artwork physically, then scan and digitally refine those elements

n

• Work confidently with scanned artwork, textures, brushwork and hand drawn elements to create finished designs

n

• Create clean, production-ready vector artwork

n

• Develop repeat patterns, layouts, colourways and collection stories

n

• Translate creative concepts into commercially viable product designs

n

• Work closely with the product and creative teams on new collections

n

• Prepare artwork and files according to manufacturing and production requirements

n

• Create packaging, labels, cards and other brand collateral when required

n

• Research international brands, tableware, fashion, art and design to bring fresh references and ideas into the brand

n





You Should Be Excellent At

n

• Adobe Illustrator

n

• Adobe Photoshop

n

• Adobe InDesign

n

• Adobe Fresco and/or other relevant Adobe applications

n

• Vector illustration

n

• Hand illustration and drawing

n

• Pattern and surface design

n

• Image tracing and digital refinement

n

• Creating production-ready artwork

n

• Understanding scale, composition, colour and print

n

The Ideal Candidate

n

You are someone who:

n

• Has qualified experience in graphic design, illustration, surface design, tableware, homeware, fashion, luxury or a related creative field

n

• Has a strong understanding of international tableware and homeware brands

n

• Has a refined and sophisticated design sensibility

n

• Can create original artwork rather than relying solely on existing digital assets

n

• Is comfortable moving between paper, paint, hand illustration and digital design

n

• Understands how a beautiful concept needs to translate into a real, manufacturable product

n

• Has an eye for detail and strong understanding of colour, proportion and composition

n

• Can independently take a collection from an initial idea to finished artwork

n

• Is curious about art, interiors, fashion, travel and global design

n

• Is highly organised and comfortable working on multiple collections and deadlines

n

Experience

n

This role is strictly for candidates with prior professional experience. Freshers will not be considered.

n

Experience working with tableware, homeware, lifestyle, fashion, luxury, surface design, textiles, stationery or product design will be highly valued.
