Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate garment cost sheets for knitwear products.
Analyze fabric, trims, printing, embroidery, washing, packing, and logistics costs.




Work closely with vendors to obtain competitive quotations and negotiate costs.
Evaluate cost breakdowns and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
Coordinate with merchandising, design, product development, and sourcing teams during product development. Maintain cost databases and ensure timely updates of material and manufacturing costs.
Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and manufacturing costs.
Support margin analysis and costing approvals for recent developments and bulk orders.
Ensure costing accuracy and adherence to target prices.
Requirement
Graduate in any discipline. 2–5 years of experience in apparel costing, sourcing, or merchandising.
Strong understanding of garment manufacturing, fabrics, trims, printing, embroidery, and washing processes.
Good negotiation and analytical skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, Google sheets and cost calculations.
Experience in knitwear/apparel sourcing preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple developments simultaneously.
