Company Description: Hyly.AI is multifamily’s only Intelligence Fabric™, weaving Artificial, Business, and Human intelligence into one operating system for growth. The company connects raw data to decisions, decisions to actions, and actions to measurable outcomes, turning complexity into clarity. Founded in 2010, Hyly.AI has been helping multifamily leaders scale operations and marketing without adding extra headcount. Today, 4 of the top 5 National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) managers rely on Hyly.AI to power their growth by transforming data into actionable insights and structured processes.
Job Summary:
Hyly.AI is hiring a Director - Revenue Operations & Finance to own the operational backbone of our revenue engine: pricing administration, contract lifecycle management, compliance tracking, and compensation plan administration.
Hyly.AI sells Halo, an enterprise analytics suite for multifamily property management companies. As we've scaled — more SKUs, more discount structures, more setup fees, more upsells and cross-sells across hundreds of accounts — the gap between "what was sold" and "what gets billed" has become a real operational cost. This role exists to close that gap permanently.
You will be the single source of truth for what every client agreed to pay, for every contract version in flight, and for every comp plan on the books. You won't create pricing strategy, negotiate legal terms, or design comp plans — you'll make sure the ones that exist are tracked, accurate, and executed without anything falling through the cracks. You sit at the intersection of Sales, Legal (outside counsel on retainer), and Accounting, reporting directly to the CRO.
This is a full-time, fully remote position based in India, working core US Eastern hours. We are deliberately targeting candidates who have operated at the VP or Director of Finance level and want deep operational ownership at a fast-growing US SaaS company.
Must-Have Qualifications:
8+ years in finance or revenue operations, including time at the VP or Director of Finance level
Demonstrated ownership of quote-to-cash / order-to-cash processes: pricing administration, order entry accuracy, billing setup,
and revenue handoff to accounting
Experience administering complex, multi-SKU pricing: tiered pricing, discounts, setup fees, upsell/cross-sell amendments
Experience running contract lifecycle tracking — version control, routing through approval channels, renewal and amendment tracking (facilitation and tracking, not legal interpretation)
Experience owning or reconciling compensation/commission plans against a master record — catching discrepancies before they become payout disputes
Track record of building operational systems and controls that prevent errors from propagating downstream (especially sales-to-accounting handoffs)
Exceptional attention to detail and documentation discipline — this role's core value is that nothing slips
Strong written and verbal English; comfortable working directly with US-based sales, accounting, and executive stakeholders
Based in India; able to work core US Eastern hours full time
Job Responsibilities:
Pricing Operations:
Own the authoritative record of agreed pricing for every client: SKUs, property-size tiers, discounts, setup fees, and all upsell/cross-sell amendments
Validate every new deal's pricing against the master record before it reaches accounting for billing setup
Reconcile accounting's billing configuration against agreed terms; catch and correct discrepancies before they hit invoices
Maintain pricing documentation so any stakeholder can answer "what did this client agree to pay, and when?" in minutes
Contract lifecycle Management:
Facilitate all contracts through the proper channels: sales → legal counsel (on retainer) → signature → filing
Maintain version control and a single source of truth for every contract, amendment, and order form
Track renewal dates, expiration dates,
auto-renew clauses, and amendment history; surface upcoming actions before deadlines
Ensure no contract circulates untracked — every document has a known status and owner
Compensation Plan Administration:
Own the comp plan master sheet across all plans (base structures, bounties, attach overlays, quarterly payouts)
Reconcile earned compensation against plan terms each cycle; flag discrepancies before payout
Track plan-required documentation and approvals (e.g., attach approvals and required client-facing artifacts) so payouts are always defensible
Serve as the operational check that comp plans "line up and make sense" — escalating design issues to the CRO, not redesigning plans
Compliance Tracking:
Maintain the company compliance calendar: contractual obligations, client-mandated requirements, insurance/certification renewals, and recurring filings
Track completion and documentation of each item; escalate at-risk deadlines early
Keep audit-ready records of pricing agreements, contract versions, and comp reconciliations
Cross-Functional Revenue Operations:
Act as the operational bridge between Sales, Legal, and Accounting — the person who ensures handoffs don't drop information
Identify recurring failure points in the quote-to-cash flow and implement lightweight controls to eliminate them
Provide the CRO with visibility: contract pipeline status, pricing exceptions, comp reconciliation status, and compliance health
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications:
Experience at a US or international SaaS company with subscription + services revenue
Familiarity with CRM-to-accounting data flows (deal records → invoicing setup) in any modern stack
Exposure to sales compensation administration at scale (multiple plan types, quarterly payouts, clawbacks)
Experience maintaining a compliance calendar (contractual obligations, renewals, regulatory or client-mandated items)
Prior experience as the operational bridge between a US revenue team and an offshore or distributed finance function
Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent — valued but not required
