Job Summary A PYP teacher is responsible for delivering the IB Primary Years Programme curriculum to students, fostering inquiry-based learning, and creating a supportive and inclusive classroom setting.

Responsibilities
Implement the IB PYP curriculum, including units of inquiry, transdisciplinary themes, and subject-specific content.
Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Assess and evaluate student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
Maintain accurate records of student assessments and achievements.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom workplace that encourages active participation and respectful behavior.




Collaborate with other PYP teachers and school staff to align curriculum and instructional strategies.
Stay current with developments in education, the IB curriculum, and best practices.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Familiarity with the IB PYP curriculum and philosophy.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
Classroom management skills.
Cultural sensitivity and an international perspective.

Work Schedule
Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri - 7.50am to 4pm
Wed - 7.50am to 4.30pm
