Responsibilities
Performing the contract review in cooperation with all relevant functions
Plan, invite and conduct project kick-off and product workshops
Coordinate, create, permanently maintain and communicate the main schedule according to the customer schedule
Preparation and preparation of Project Gate Reports according to Brose Product development process (main schedule) together with the project team
Ensuring that the respective core team member takes responsibility for the technical aspects (if necessary, by escalation), especially in the Project Gate
Maintain project profitability set by project committee
Responsible for keeping project budgets within business case approved limits
Responsible to meet agreed customer project launch timeline. Drive internal cross functional teams to meet customer timelines
Co-ordinate engineering changes with sales and provide commercial facts for customer recoveries
Support sales in case of price increases demand due to various factors like material price change, customer ECNs, volume drop, . . etc
Reporting of project status to management & Project gate committee
Qualifications
8+ years in automobile industry.
Project manager background in seat structures and mechanisms
Highly Structured & Detail-Oriented
Self-dependent and responsible behavior
Systematic, engineer-like course of action
Ability to assert oneself, creativity
Foresighted discovery of weak points
