Role Overview

Responsible for monitoring and managing IT infrastructure operations from a centralized NOC environment, ensuring proactive incident detection and timely resolution. The role focuses on event monitoring, incident management, and coordination with resolver teams to maintain service availability.

Key Responsibilities
Perform proactive and reactive monitoring of IT infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana
Monitor key parameters such as CPU, memory, disk, network utilization, backup, and device availability
Perform initial troubleshooting and coordinate with L2/L3 teams for issue resolution
Manage incident lifecycle including logging, assignment, tracking, escalation, and closure via ITSM tools
Handle service requests and stakeholder communication as per defined SLAs
Ensure timely alerts, notifications, and escalations for incidents
Support event, incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL)
Assist in availability, capacity, and performance monitoring




Coordinate with users via email and phone for issue understanding and updates
Maintain reports, logs, and documentation for operational visibility

Qualifications
BE / B.Tech / B.Sc / MCA or equivalent

Experience & Skills
1–2 years of experience in Technical Support / NOC / IT Operations
Basic understanding of data centre technologies (network, servers, storage, databases)

Technical Skills:
Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana
Knowledge of ITSM/ticketing tools (e.g., Zammad or similar)
Understanding of ITIL processes: Event, Incident, Problem, Change Management
Basic troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and application issues
Awareness of performance and availability monitoring metrics

Preferred
Experience in 24x7 operations environments
Exposure to data centre or enterprise IT settings
Familiarity with reporting and monitoring dashboards
