Role & responsibilities
5+years of Perform direct COGS accounting and ensure accurate monthly reporting.
Manage inventory valuation, costing, and reconciliation processes.
Handle standard costing, overhead absorption, and material cost variances, including:
Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
Freight Variance
Manage inventory provisions, reserves, and valuation adjustments.
Support physical inventory counts and cycle count coordination.
Ensure accurate inventory reconciliation and inventory management.
Apply IFRS and US GAAP requirements for inventory and COGS accounting.
Support financial consolidation and month-end/year-end closing activities.
Work extensively with SAP for inventory accounting, costing, reconciliation, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
