Roles and Responsibilities:
Deliver mainframe applications by understanding business flow for MES and Supply Chain domains.
Perform technical design for application and database components, then implement reliable, well-structured code.
Develop and extend COBOL programs for transactional and batch processing in an IBM z/OS setting.
Support API enablement and ensure reliable integration of mainframe services.
Handle incident and problem solving, including root-cause analysis, bug fixing, and workaround implementation.
Skills Required:
Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar IBM z/OS mainframe development role
CICS and COBOL development on IBM z/OS
VSAM and DB2 database development and data handling
JCL for job control and batch execution in z/OS
Transactional and batch application development experience
