We at Yusen Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. are hiring for Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager role for Gurgaon location.
Role & responsibilities
Handle nomination enquiries from overseas offices and branches, and prepare timely, accurate quotations for Air, Ocean (FCL/LCL), and multimodal shipments within the defined TAT.
Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Transport, Customs, and branch teams to obtain competitive rates and ensure seamless execution of nominated shipments.
Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, and customers regarding shipment requirements, Incoterms, routing, transit time, special handling, and quotation follow-up to maximize business conversion.
Ensure quotation quality and compliance by adhering to company SOPs, pricing guidelines, and customer requirements.
Monitor quotation performance, identify opportunities to improve the win ratio,
and promptly escalate critical enquiries or operational issues to the reporting manager.
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and timely execution of shipments.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience in handling Air Export & Ocean Export queries.
Experience in coordinating with overseas offices.
Excellent communication and email drafting skills.
Robust negotiation and coordination abilities.
Valuable knowledge of freight forwarding operations.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
