Position: OT Nurse / Operation Theatre Nurse

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹24,000 per month
Duty Hours: 6–8 hours per day

Job Summary Pallava Hospital is looking for a skilled and responsible OT Nurse to assist in the smooth and safe functioning of the Operation Theatre. The candidate will be responsible for preparing the OT, assisting doctors during procedures, maintaining sterile conditions, and ensuring proper patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare the Operation Theatre, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
Maintain strict aseptic and infection-control practices.
Ensure availability and proper sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
Prepare patients for surgery and provide appropriate pre-operative and post-operative care.
Monitor and maintain OT stock, consumables, and equipment.
Follow surgical safety and hospital protocols.




Assist with patient shifting and positioning as required.
Maintain accurate OT records and documentation.
Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and readiness of the OT after procedures.
Coordinate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other hospital staff.

Candidate Requirements
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent.
Valid nursing registration.
Previous OT experience preferred.
Good knowledge of surgical procedures, sterilization, and infection-control practices.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsible, punctual, and patient-focused approach.
