A Computer Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining computer systems and related equipment to ensure smooth and effective daily operations.
Key Responsibilities Operate computers, printers, scanners, and other office equipment. Enter, update, and maintain data accurately in computer systems. Monitor computer systems and report technical problems. Perform routine system backups and basic troubleshooting. Install or update software as instructed.
Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in IT or Computer Science is an advantage. Positive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet applications. Positive typing and data/-entry skills. Basic understanding of computer hardware and software. Ability to troubleshoot common computer problems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
